Learning Outcomes

This course builds on the basic principle of using data as outlined in the “Monitoring, Metrics and Analysis” course. It covers advanced analysis techniques such as regression analysis and multi-regression analysis for the analysis of performance of energy users with multiple potential energy drivers. The output of these analysis techniques will be communicated through CUSUM and Energy Intensity Indicator graphs for dissemination throughout the organisation. Topics Include:

Energy Metrics
Energy Drivers
Simple Regression analysis
Multi-regression analysis
CUSUM
Energy Intensity Indicators
ISO50006 energy performance indicators and baselines.

Audience

This advanced course is aimed at energy managers in an organisation who are required to develop Energy Performance Indicators for their energy management systems. Ideal for energy managers and energy team members, or those responsible for significant energy using equipment.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course however a good knowledge of Excel and some knowledge the energy management system is desirable.
