This course will explain all clauses of ISO50001 and outlines methods for the effective implementation of all aspects of the standard.  Attendees will leave with understanding of how to deveop an energy management system within their organisation. Topics include:

  • The importance of effective monitoring & metrics.

  • Identification of significant energy users, energy drivers and planning for continuous improvement.

  • Energy Efficient Design & Procurement.

  • How to embed strong operational control practices on your significant energy users and through your organisations.

  • Auditing of your energy management system and maintaining your processes in line with ISO50001.

Prerequisites  

There are no prerequisites for this course however a knowledge of significant energy using plant and equipment or management systems is an advantage.
