This course gives anyone interacting with the energy management system on an occasional basis an overview of a management system and how the various elements of the system interact. Attendees will leave with an appreciation of the management system and how each energy management action assists in improving energy performance of an organisation. Topics Include:

The importance of planning and the selection of significant energy users.
Setting Objectives, Targets & Action Plans to drive performance.
Operational control of the large energy users
Daily actions which can impact performance
Checking the system for improvement

Audience

This introductory course is aimed at anyone in an organisation who occasionally interacts with the energy management system. Ideal for energy team members, procurement and design personnel and members of the operations department.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course however some interaction with the energy management system is desirable.
